<<<<< " Gain Health, Lose Weight " >>>>>
The Organic Garden was proudly promoting this motto on the evening of 8th April 2017. This event was the brainchild of our esteemed customer Dr.Rashmi Menon. Along with her other honorable health Coaches namely – Nandini Gulati, Mayavi Khandelwal, Shishir Khandelwal and Ramesh Hirani.
Held in heart of the city, this event also witnessed a number of guests belonging to diversified sectors of the industry. The main motto of this event was to make the attendees understand the significance of losing weight but gaining a proper health.
HOW WAS THIS EVENT HELPFUL?
This event was surely a revelation to each one us. We learnt ample of health-related benefits such as
1. The health scorecard – It is vital to understand that you can actually provide the score to your health. Once you figure out your score, you can work upon improvising it.
2. Disease proof life – This event brought in conclusions on healthy eating. What should we eat, what shouldn’t be consumed – all these were clearly informed.
3. Eating plenty of healthy food is important and then it is perfectly okay if you don’t count your calories.
The well-informed team of the doctors is on a mission of providing a healthy way of life to everyone. “We have come together to help people get rid of excess weight for the prevention of common lifestyle diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol and many others. “ quotes Dr Rashmi Menon
In the words of her teammates – “All 3 of us suffered from health issues due to overweight until we came upon the scientific and proven path of the whole plant-based nutrition and lifestyle. Now we want to share this with as many people as possible and we will teach you how!”
#The_Organic_Garden choose to be a part of this event since the mission of this event coincides with the thoughts of the organisation. The founder of the company focuses on providing healthy food amidst of the market loaded with pesticides and unhealthy food practices.
The Organic Garden is one such initiation taken back in 2012 continuing the endeavor till date.
You can order completely organically grown, lab tested and certified fruits, vegetables and grocery items through the
Lessons taken together where teaching-learning is a matter of contribution.
“I make it a point to visit here each year. The kids are growing year after year and I can see them turning into a beautiful human being” says Priyanka, a teaching volunteer.
Our recent exploration of the city life took us to the porters of tomorrow. Located in the hustling bustling market of Colaba this small Municipal School too promises a broader and brighter future. With the guidance of an NGO named “Door Step School” Organization a small, short and simple program was arranged wherein we volunteered.
Established in the year 1989, The Door Step School constantly aims at addressing the literacy amongst the marginalized sections of the society. Providing education to the underprivileged city dwellers it also organizes activities concerning to municipality schools time to time.
This 4 hours long event catered to various requirements of a child especially when it comes to all-round development in the educational field. The organization understands the impact of practical learning on a child’s mind. The designing of various stalls was done keeping these requirements in mind. A variety of competitions such as parts of body recognizing, storytelling, story writing, and puppet show was held to keep the children entertained and enhance the teaching-learning experience throughout.
We believe in keeping the mind and body healthy and that is what exactly we try to do through our Organic products. We understand the value of education and development of the tomorrow. Therefore, The Organic Garden decided to dedicate one working day to these tiny tots.
The love and care fostered amongst the kids in a way beautified the whole event. It indeed took us back to the memory lane of our school days. However, it also made us feel indebted to our parents for providing a good education and respectful life. As a part and parcel of the society that is moving ahead, The Organic Garden too believe in giving the society back.
Organic stall in Goregoan
Amidst of the day filled with mist and breeze, we managed to provide a healthy dose to the residents of Minaxi Tower of Gokuldham in Goregoan.
Organic fruits, vegetables and groceries, stand to be of higher importance, but little realizing this we end up buying inorganic and readily available items. While the gap between demand and supply needed a bridge to counter, we made a point to build one.
The stall of The Organic Garden was curiously entertained by the residents. They were not only interested in buying the products, but were also inclined to know more about it. Even though most of them knew what organic – word stands for there were still some of the prevailing doubts that we couldn’t resist from solving.
The event turned out to be well. The residents not just bought the products, but also tasted free samples and gave us their honest feedback which helped us in enhancing the quality and services of the brand.
Our interactions with the customers give us a chance to communicate with them on, one on one basis and help us in understanding the grassroots of their queries. It also allows us to build customer relationships which are something we have always focused upon. The event was fun, informative and most importantly, it gave us a chance to showcase the existence of our brand, highlighting the importance of Organic food on our plates.
The conventionally grown fruits and vegetables are bathed in wax, chemicals and dyes give them the desired freshness visually. What we do not realize is that, the ignorance is leading us towards various curable and incurable ailments only because of the excessive pesticides that the crops are exposed to.
Educating the customers about the importance of organic food is our aim primarily which often leads us to the events where we interact with the general public on the issues that concern our right to eat healthy.
